MAH Sing Group Bhd’s RM614mil Ferringhi Residence 2 project in Batu Ferringhi, Penang, is scheduled for completion in December next year.
The project is about 50% completed with the structural work of Phase 2 still in progress.
Mah Sing celebrated the topping up ceremony for phase one of Ferringhi Residence 2 earlier this month.
Group chief operating officer Everlyn Khaw said the completion of the first phase of Ferringhi Residence 2 once again demonstrated its commitment in meeting project deadlines.
“At the same time, we will continue to look for ways to enhance our projects such as the automated waste collection system and multi-tier security system we have put in place.
“In addition, we are getting the Building & Construction Authority Green Mark certification from Singapore for this project.
“This will signify our commitment to creating a sustainable development that is environmentally friendly and beneficial to the surrounding communities.”
Khaw added that the group was optimistic about its ongoing projects in Penang as they had been receiving encouraging take-up rates despite the tough property environment.
“We have the right mix of products in strategic locations to cater to diverse needs,” she added.
The 9.95-acre Ferringhi Residence 2 development is a freehold residential condominium located behind the Penang Hill forest range and the Teluk Bahang Forest Reserve Park within Penang’s famous holiday spot of Batu Ferringhi.
It is accessible through Jalan Sungai 1 which branches off from Jalan Batu Ferringhi in front of Holiday Inn Resort Hotel.
The development comprises three towers (32-storey high-rise residences, 10-storey mid-rise residences and four-storey low-rise residences).
All units are designed with living spaces having 16-ft wide openings with a direct view towards the outdoors.
